3/13 starting...

Hi, I’m Lena from Setting and Property. This is my 4th time of joining MP and is my 2nd time to be a S&P member.
Today, we draw image pictures of each scene using the theme of “string”.
“String theme” is based on MK(one of SP members)’s idea. He thinks that the theme of OZ is “connection”. A string represents Dorothy who is alone in the beginning of the story. But as she travels the Oz land, she finds her friends, and builds connection or strong bond. It is like a fabric. Fabric is just a single string at first. But by combining other strings, it will turn into a beautiful fabric. And we thought the string can be used on the stage to express Dorothy’s connection with others. Everyone was so creative, and it was really fun to listen to other’s ideas. Also, we were able to go to the WIZ world today! I was able to talk to Dorothy, Scarecrow, Lion etc. I am excited to see these characters on stage again!

やっほー！舞台美術のれなです。今年は４回目のＭＰで、セッピー２回目というＭＰ中毒な人間です。よろしくｗ
さて、今日のセッピーは「糸」をテーマに全シーンのイメージ画を描きました！ん？なぜ「糸」がテーマなのかって？そもそもこれはMKのアイディアなんだけど、オズの物語って「connection」がテーマの一つで、そのconnectionを糸で表現できたら素敵だなって。最初はひとりぼっちのドロシーが、オズで出会う仲間と絆を深めていく。それってたった一本の糸が、沢山の糸と交わって出来上がる一つの布みたいだなって考えたんだって。皆の「糸」をテーマにした絵には色んなアイディアがあって、セットへの無限の可能性を感じてワクワクした。観客をアッと驚かせられる、いい意味で期待を裏切るようなセットを作れるように頑張りまーす！
そして今日はもうひとつ、オズの国に実際に遊びに行って、実際にドロシー、カカシ、ライオンなどとお話してきました。また彼らとステージで会えるのが待ちきれないよ♪
